Some recipes aren’t born on paper—they live in memory, guided by instinct, taste, and years of tradition. This is exactly how the Almond Indi-Chex mix came to be—straight from my mom’s heart, and now, finally, into your hands.
For years, she made this addictive, savory snack for our family—always eyeballing the ingredients, adjusting the heat, crisping each batch just so. It was her take on a classic Indian-style Chex mix, lovingly spiced and overflowing with flavor and texture. But for the longest time, it was impossible to recreate—unless you were standing right next to her, watching her add “just a little” of this or “a pinch” of that.
So we did the unthinkable: we wrote it down.
And not just for us—but for you and it is now one of our new products in production. For anyone who craves a snack that’s as bold and comforting as home, a tad bit of spiciness but enough citrusy flavor to offset the heat.
Our Almond Indi-Chex is a one-of-a-kind fusion of Indian and American snacking traditions. It brings together crispy bits of chakali, Ribbon Pakoda, and lots of crunchy corn Chex and rice Chex seasoned to perfection. Into that mix, we add perfectly roasted almonds and buttery cashews. But the real magic? It’s in the tempered spices—the way South Indian cooks build deep flavor from just a few whole ingredients.
We bloom mustard seeds in hot oil, toast Byadgi chilies (the vibrant, smoky red chilis you can’t find just anywhere), sizzle fresh garlic, and toss in the star of the show: curry leaves. Fragrant, punchy, and deeply nostalgic. We season it all with a delicate balance of salt, heat, and spice.

It’s a snack with story, tradition, and just enough crunch to keep you going back for more. What started in my mom’s kitchen is now grown into something we can share with the world – and we couldn’t be prouder.
