The Indi-Burger

Usha Martin
The Indi-Burger (short for Indian Burger) is a new spin on the good old fashioned high fat American cheese-burger…without the cheese, without the mayo , and without all the fat calories, but with all the flavor and juiciness you crave in a good burger.
Adding three simple ingredients into a pound of any low-fat ground meat will add the tenderness and spice that will make this burger one to remember and keep you coming back for more.

Instructions

  • Gently fold ½ cup curry starter into the meat. Do NOT over mix!
  • Gently form 4 patties. Do not densely pack the meat!
  • Sprinkle 1/4 tsp salt and 1 Tbsp Keema Masala Powder over the patties. (If you are using a low fat meat, spray the patties with a little olive oil.)
  • Heat up your grill or stove top pan,
  • Sear the inside of the buns first with a little bit of butter or olive oil and set them aside.
